Sardinia & Corsica
Western Mediterranean · Italy / France
Sardinia and Corsica represent the Mediterranean's most pristine and exclusive yacht charter destination, where emerald waters, granite archipelagos, and an unspoiled coastline create a cruising ground of extraordinary natural beauty. The Costa Smeralda — developed in the 1960s by the Aga Khan — established Sardinia as the playground of European royalty and global elite, and its allure has only grown stronger.
The Maddalena Archipelago, a national park of seven main islands between Sardinia and Corsica, offers some of the most spectacular anchorages in the entire Mediterranean. The famous Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach) on Budelli, the sheltered bays of Spargi, and the crystal-clear waters of Caprera create a natural paradise accessible only by yacht. Crossing the Strait of Bonifacio to Corsica reveals an equally dramatic landscape: the limestone cliffs of Bonifacio, the red granite calanques of Piana (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the sophisticated harbour of Porto Cervo.
Bluebnc Yachting offers carefully curated charter itineraries that combine the best of both islands, typically starting from Porto Cervo or Olbia in Sardinia and incorporating crossings to Bonifacio and the west coast of Corsica. Our fleet in the region includes both motor yachts and sailing yachts suited to the varied cruising conditions.
The season runs from May through September, with July and August being peak months when the Costa Smeralda comes alive with events, regattas, and an international social scene.
