The Mediterranean's Island Playground
The Balearic Islands are Spain's crown jewels — four islands in the western Mediterranean that together offer everything a charter guest could desire. Mallorca combines cultural depth with natural drama; Ibiza delivers the world's most famous nightlife alongside pristine northern coves; Formentera is the Mediterranean's answer to the Maldives; and Menorca is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of unspoiled beauty.
What makes the Balearics exceptional for yachting is the proximity between islands. You can wake up in Palma's historic harbour, lunch at anchor in Formentera's Ses Illetes, and watch the sunset from Ibiza's Es Vedrà — all in a single day. The short passages between islands mean more time at anchor and less time underway.
The Balearics also benefit from excellent infrastructure — world-class marinas at Port Adriano, Marina Ibiza, and Club de Mar Palma, plus a culinary scene that has earned the islands multiple Michelin stars. Our fleet of 55+ yachts available in the Western Mediterranean ensures the perfect match for your Balearic charter.

The Islands
Four Islands, Four Worlds

Mallorca
The largest Balearic island is a world unto itself. Palma's Gothic cathedral rises above a harbour that hosts some of the largest superyachts in the Mediterranean. The northwest coast — the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape — offers dramatic cliff anchorages at Sa Calobra and the artist village of Deià. The east coast's hidden calas (coves) — Cala Mondragó, Cala Varques, Cala Llombards — are accessible only by sea, making them perfect yacht destinations. Palma's culinary scene has exploded, with Michelin-starred restaurants like DINS Santi Taura and Adrián Quetglas.
Best: May – October
Ibiza
Ibiza is far more than its legendary nightlife. The island's UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila (Old Town) is a 2,500-year-old fortified citadel with panoramic views over the harbour. The north coast — Cala Benirrás, Portinatx, Es Portitxol — offers wild, unspoiled beauty and some of the best sunset anchorages in the Mediterranean. The west coast's famous sunset strip at Café del Mar and Café Mambo has become a global cultural phenomenon. For superyacht guests, Ibiza offers the rare combination of world-class nightlife, pristine nature, and authentic Balearic culture.
Best: May – October
Formentera
The smallest inhabited Balearic island is the Mediterranean's answer to the Maldives. Ses Illetes beach — a narrow sandbar stretching into water so clear it appears to glow — is regularly voted the best beach in Europe. Formentera's strict building regulations have preserved its unspoiled character, and the island moves at a pace that feels decades removed from neighbouring Ibiza. The anchorage between Formentera and Espalmador island is one of the most coveted in the Mediterranean — arrive early in summer to secure your spot.
Best: June – September
Menorca
The quietest Balearic island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — and it shows. Menorca's coastline is dotted with over 80 pristine calas, many accessible only by sea. Cala Macarella and Cala Turqueta are among the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, with turquoise water framed by pine-clad cliffs. The capital Mahón boasts the second-largest natural harbour in the world (after Pearl Harbor), and the island's British colonial heritage gives it a unique character. Menorca is the Balearic island for those who value nature, tranquillity, and authenticity.
