The Ultimate Motorsport Experience

Why the Monaco Grand Prix Is Best Experienced from a Superyacht

The Monaco Grand Prix is not merely a motor race. It is the single most concentrated gathering of wealth, prestige, and spectacle in the sporting calendar. Each May, the narrow streets of Monte Carlo are transformed into a 3.337-kilometre circuit that winds past the Casino, through the tunnel, and along the harbour — where superyachts line Port Hercule in a display of maritime grandeur that rivals the race itself.

For charter clients who understand the value of position and experience, there is no finer vantage point than the sundeck of a superyacht moored in Port Hercule. From here, the cars are not distant specks on a television screen — they are visceral, deafening, and close enough to feel the displacement of air as they brake into the harbour chicane at over 250 km/h.

Bluebnc Yachting has organised Monaco Grand Prix charters since 2019, building relationships with the port authority, securing premium berths through established protocols, and coordinating every detail — from helicopter transfers to private quayside events. Our flagship vessel, the 73-metre Coral Ocean, has become a fixture of the GP weekend, hosting world champions, team principals, and discerning clients who return year after year.

Coral Ocean at the Monaco Grand Prix

The 73-metre Coral Ocean, built by Lürssen and refitted to the highest standards, has been the centrepiece of Bluebnc's Monaco Grand Prix programme since our inaugural season. With accommodation for 12 guests across six staterooms, a crew of 21, and over 400 square metres of exterior deck space, she provides the ideal platform for race-day entertaining.

Year after year, Bluebnc has secured letters from F1 drivers and team principals to guarantee Coral Ocean's berth allocation in the coveted T-Zone of Port Hercule — directly opposite the Tabac corner. This is not a privilege that can be purchased; it is earned through consistent presence, impeccable conduct, and the relationships our team has cultivated with the Société des Bains de Mer and the port authority.

Over the years, Coral Ocean has hosted a number of world champions, team principals, and prominent figures from the worlds of business and entertainment during the GP weekend. Our dedicated concierge team arranges paddock access, pit lane walks, private dinners at the Hotel de Paris, and helicopter transfers — creating an experience that extends far beyond the race itself.
