Mediterranean Beach Clubs
by Superyacht
The definitive guide to the finest beach clubs accessible from your charter yacht — from Saint-Tropez to Mykonos, Ibiza to Capri.
The Art of the Beach Club Visit by Yacht
A beach club visit from a superyacht is one of the defining experiences of a Mediterranean charter. The ritual is simple but deeply satisfying: your captain anchors in a sheltered bay, the crew prepares the tender, and within minutes you step onto the sand or rocks of a venue that would otherwise require hours of travel by road. This effortless access — from open sea to reserved table in under ten minutes — is what makes yacht-based beach club hopping one of the most sought-after charter experiences.
The Mediterranean's finest beach clubs are not interchangeable. Each has a distinct character, cuisine, and atmosphere shaped by its location and history. Club 55 in Saint-Tropez is the antithesis of Blue Marlin in Ibiza; Nammos in Mykonos operates in a different register from La Fontelina in Capri. Understanding these distinctions — and planning your itinerary accordingly — is what separates a memorable charter from an exceptional one.
At Bluebnc Yachting, our charter coordinators have personal relationships with the management teams at every beach club listed here. We arrange priority reservations, coordinate tender logistics, and ensure that your arrival is seamless. Whether you are planning a week-long beach club tour of the Western Mediterranean or a single afternoon at Phi Beach in Sardinia, we handle every detail.

Club 55
Founded in 1955 during the filming of And God Created Woman with Brigitte Bardot, Club 55 remains the most authentic and discreet beach club on the French Riviera. There are no DJs, no bottle service, no velvet ropes — just impeccable Provençal cuisine, attentive service, and a clientele that values substance over spectacle. The grilled fish, the rosé, and the unhurried pace of a long lunch under the pine trees have made this the definitive Riviera beach club for over six decades.
Yacht Access
Anchor in Pampelonne Bay (5–8m depth, sandy bottom, good holding). Tender to the beach — Club 55 has a dedicated tender landing area. VHF Channel 9 for coordination. Arrive before 12:00 to secure anchorage close to shore.
Season
April to October (peak: June–September)
Reservations
Essential. Book 2–4 weeks ahead in July/August. Bluebnc concierge can arrange priority tables.

Nammos
Nammos has redefined the beach club concept in the Eastern Mediterranean. Set on the golden sands of Psarou Beach, it combines a world-class restaurant with a boutique shopping village and an atmosphere that transitions seamlessly from relaxed daytime dining to energetic sunset celebrations. The seafood is exceptional, the wine list rivals any fine-dining establishment, and the service standard is consistently high. Psarou Bay is one of the most popular superyacht anchorages in the Cyclades.
Yacht Access
Psarou Bay offers excellent anchorage (8–15m depth, sandy bottom). Tender directly to the beach. The bay can become crowded in peak season — arrive early or coordinate through Bluebnc for reserved mooring assistance.
Season
May to October (peak: July–August)
Reservations
Essential in peak season. Bluebnc arranges VIP tables with advance notice.

Blue Marlin
Blue Marlin Ibiza is the island's most iconic beach club, set in the sheltered cove of Cala Jondal on the southern coast. The combination of exceptional Japanese-Mediterranean cuisine, international DJs, and a clientele drawn from the global yachting community has made it the undisputed social hub of the Ibiza charter season. The energy builds through the afternoon, peaking at sunset when the DJ sets and the champagne flow create an atmosphere that is uniquely Ibiza.
Yacht Access
Cala Jondal offers good anchorage (6–12m depth, sandy bottom with some rock). Tender to the beach club's dedicated landing area. The cove is well-protected from prevailing winds. Coordinate with your captain for optimal positioning.
Season
May to October (peak: June–September)
Reservations
Essential. VIP beds and tables book out weeks ahead. Bluebnc concierge secures priority access.

Phi Beach
Perched on the granite rocks of Baja Sardinia with panoramic views across the La Maddalena archipelago, Phi Beach is Sardinia's most spectacular sunset venue. The club occupies a dramatic natural amphitheatre of weathered rock formations, with terraced seating that descends toward the water's edge. As the sun sets behind the islands, the resident DJs create a soundtrack that has made Phi Beach a pilgrimage destination for the yachting community cruising the Costa Smeralda.
Yacht Access
Anchor off Baja Sardinia (8–15m depth, mixed sand and rock). Tender to the club's small jetty or the nearby beach. The approach requires care due to scattered rocks — follow your captain's guidance.
Season
June to September (peak: July–August)
Reservations
Recommended for dinner and sunset tables. Walk-ins possible for afternoon drinks.

La Fontelina
La Fontelina is arguably the most photographed beach club in the Mediterranean, and for good reason. Nestled at the base of the iconic Faraglioni rocks on Capri's southern coast, it offers a setting of almost theatrical beauty — blue and white striped umbrellas against the towering limestone stacks, crystal-clear water for swimming, and a restaurant serving the freshest seafood on the island. Access is exclusively by boat, which makes it a natural destination for yacht charter guests.
Yacht Access
Anchor off the Faraglioni (15–25m depth, rocky bottom — use caution). Tender directly to the club's small pier. The approach is straightforward but can be busy in peak season. Morning arrival recommended.
Season
April to October (peak: June–September)
Reservations
Essential. Tables book out weeks ahead in summer. Bluebnc concierge arranges priority reservations.
