Provisioning & Catering
The definitive guide to dining aboard a luxury yacht charter — from your chef's capabilities to wine selection and dietary accommodations.
Dining at Sea — A Culinary Experience
One of the greatest pleasures of a yacht charter is the food. Your onboard chef — typically trained at Michelin-starred restaurants or top culinary schools — will create bespoke menus tailored to your exact preferences. Before your charter, you will receive a detailed preference sheet covering cuisine styles, dietary requirements, allergies, favourite dishes, wine preferences, and any special occasions to celebrate. The result is restaurant-quality dining in the most spectacular settings imaginable.
What's Included
Gourmet Cuisine
Your onboard chef will create bespoke menus tailored to your preferences. From Michelin-level tasting menus to casual Mediterranean fare, every meal is an event. Most chefs trained at top culinary schools and have worked in the world's finest restaurants.
Wine & Spirits
A curated wine cellar stocked to your preferences — from first-growth Bordeaux to vintage Champagne. Your charter broker will send a detailed preference sheet covering wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
Specialty Provisions
From Japanese wagyu beef to white truffles, your chef sources the finest local and international ingredients. Many chefs visit local markets at each port of call to ensure the freshest seasonal produce.
Children's Menus
Family-friendly options that go beyond chicken nuggets. Chefs create nutritious, appealing meals for younger guests — from homemade pasta to fresh fruit smoothies and healthy snacks available throughout the day.
Dietary Requirements
Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, kosher, halal, keto, paleo — every dietary requirement is accommodated with the same level of creativity and quality as the main menu. Allergies are treated with the utmost seriousness.
Allergy Management
A detailed allergy questionnaire is completed before every charter. The chef maintains a separate preparation area for allergen-free meals, and all ingredients are cross-referenced against declared allergies.
